Our league closed out play on August 30th with a scramble. We had planned on having Derrick's NIC women's golf team hit our drives off of 9 and 18 in exchange for a small donation but a scheduling conflict required us to hit our own drives. Darn. We did have a 50-50 drawing with half the proceeds going to support their golf program.

We had a full field this year with 32 teams. September 6th we had our awards night dinner with first place honors for the season going to the LPG team with members Dianna Walde, Roxanne Brown, Shawna Kiesbuy and Kellie Hanna. Congratulations! Second place was won by Iron Maidens with members Jonalyn Clayton, Jan Leaf, Beth Bloskey, Amber Orr, Cindy Winslow and Danielle Reed. Third place went to the Wonder Women with Carole Smith, Lil Jaynes, Linda Sodoma, Barb Bennett and Johanne Haymond. A big thank you to all of the players who participated and to everyone who helped with our league. The pro shop and restaurant did a fantastic job as usual.
